Tucson, AZ(January 3, 2026) – Authorities responded to a traffic collision involving several vehicles on Friday night along Craycroft Road in Tucson. The incident resulted in one person sustaining non-life-threatening injuries.
According to police dispatch audio, the crash took place on January 2 at approximately 9:24 p.m. near the 8500 block of Craycroft Rd. Emergency crews on scene reported that one individual required transport to Tucson Medical Center for further treatment. Notably, responders relayed that seatbelts and child restraints were reportedly not used in at least one of the vehicles involved.
Multiple units worked to clear the scene, ensuring all vehicles were safely moved off the roadway to restore traffic flow. No additional serious injuries were reported at the time.
The Tucson Police Department is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and reviewing statements provided at the hospital. It is not yet known whether charges or citations will be filed.
