Laclede County, MO (July 29, 2026) – A two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Hwy 32 and Hwy Z left two women hurt on Monday, July 27. The accident was reported at approximately 5:15 p.m.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2017 GMC Terrain was making a turn when it failed to yield to an oncoming 2017 Toyota Highlander. The two vehicles collided, and both were completely damaged. Each SUV was removed from the roadway by a towing service.
The 31-year-old woman driving the GMC received minor injuries and planned to seek her own medical treatment. The 70-year-old woman driving the Toyota sustained serious injuries and was taken to Lake Regional Hospital in Camdenton. Both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the wreck.
Investigators continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the collision. We hope both women recover as quickly and fully as possible.
