San Antonio, TX (August 14, 2026) – Two people in their 20s were critically injured after a sedan left Rittiman Rd and crashed onto H-E-B warehouse property early on Friday morning. Emergency units were called to Rittiman Rd near Thornwood shortly after 1:30 a.m.
The police said the sedan jumped a curb, went through a chain-link fence, and struck a tree. The male driver was found unconscious outside the car, while the woman remained inside with her legs pinned beneath the dashboard.
Emergency units freed the woman from the damaged vehicle before both people were taken to a hospital in critical condition. The initial report did not determine the cause of the accident. The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation.
