Salt Lake City, UT (August 27, 2026) – Two people were killed on Tuesday afternoon, August 25, in a three-car crash on southbound Interstate 215 near 2100 North in Salt Lake City.
According to the Utah Highway Patrol, all of the people involved were adults. The two people who died were traveling in the same vehicle.
Authorities closed the southbound lanes in the area while emergency crews and investigators responded to the scene. The roadway was later reopened. The collision remains under review.
