St. Louis, MO (August 27, 2026) – Two people suffered minor injuries following a collision on Monday afternoon on eastbound I-70 east of Bermuda.
The accident occurred around 12:57 p.m. on August 24. A Toyota Sienna made an unsafe lane change into Lane 2, striking the left side of a GMC Sierra, according to the report.
The Sierra then moved into Lane 3 and struck a 2019 BMW 530i. The BMW traveled right and hit the front left side of a 2025 International HV507.
A 24-year-old woman driving the BMW and a 25-year-old male passenger were taken to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in St. Louis. Both were listed with minor injuries.
The Toyota driver, a 48-year-old St. Louis man, left the scene. The BMW sustained extensive damage and was towed, while the other vehicles had minor or moderate damage.
The circumstances surrounding the wreck are still being reviewed. We hope both injured people make a smooth recovery.
