Jefferson County, MO (August 18, 2026) – Two drivers were moderately injured in a crash on Sunday afternoon at Route MM and Heads Creek Road in Jefferson County around 4:34 p.m. on August 16.
A 22-year-old woman was stopped on eastbound Heads Creek Road at Route MM when she began making a left turn. A 22-year-old man was traveling east on Route MM and moved into the westbound lane before striking the left side of the Chevrolet Equinox. Both drivers suffered moderate injuries and were taken to Mercy Hospital South by ambulance.
The Equinox was driven from the scene, while the Suzuki Hayabusa was towed. The cause of the crash is being examined.
