Wichita, KS (July 13, 2026) – Two drivers were hospitalized after two vehicles met head-on during Monday morning, July 13, in northeast Wichita. The collision occurred shortly after 8 a.m. near East 21st Street North and Webb Road.
A 20-year-old woman driving a Ford Focus was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. The pickup driver was also hospitalized with serious injuries.
Early findings indicated the Ford was traveling north on Webb Road before crossing the center line into the pickup’s southbound path.
East 21st Street North was closed between Webb Road and North Clubhouse Street while emergency units worked at the site. Authorities continue examining the evidence to determine the full circumstances behind the accident.
