Baton Rouge, LA (August 14, 2026) – Two people were injured on Wednesday morning, August 12, in an overturned-vehicle crash on eastbound Interstate 12 near Sherwood Forest Boulevard. The crash was reported shortly before 7:00 a.m.
Responders arrived and assisted the two injured occupants. Both were taken to a hospital, but the initial report did not provide details about the severity of their conditions.
The roadway was blocked while crews worked at the scene, causing a temporary traffic disruption. Interstate 12 was later reopened.
