Paris, NY (July 6, 2026) – Two people were taken to a hospital following a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Route 8 and Latus Rd in the town of Paris on Saturday, July 4. The wreck was reported at approximately 12:42 p.m.
Gerard Goings, of Bridgewater, was driving a Chevrolet Cruze and attempting to enter Route 8 from a private driveway when he failed to yield to a southbound Hyundai. The two vehicles made contact at the intersection. Both people involved were taken to a hospital for treatment.
