How Tractor-Trailer Crashes Can Affect Road Safety
Large-truck collisions can create additional hazards due to the size, weight, and cargo involved. When a commercial vehicle leaves its travel lane, it can affect multiple lanes of traffic and create obstacles for other drivers.
Cargo spills can also require extra time to clear because crews must remove materials safely before vehicles can pass through the affected stretch of road. The type of cargo, vehicle damage, and roadway conditions can influence how long cleanup takes.
Reviews of truck crashes frequently look at vehicle movements, driver actions, road conditions, and the condition of the vehicles involved. These details can help explain how the collision developed and what factors may have contributed.
