Cameron, MO (September 4, 2026) – Two people were hurt on Wednesday morning when two vehicles collided on US 69 near SE Frost Road, about five miles north of Cameron.
The accident occurred at approximately 11:09 a.m. on September 2. A Buick was traveling west on SE Frost Road when it failed to yield to a northbound Ford Escape on US 69.
The Escape struck the Buick on the front driver’s side. An 80-year-old woman driving the Escape suffered moderate injuries, while an 84-year-old driver in the Buick sustained minor injuries. Both were taken to Liberty Hospital for treatment.
The Escape was totaled, while the Buick sustained extensive damage. Both vehicles were towed from the site.
The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under review. We hope both injured drivers have a smooth recovery.
