Arroyo Grande, CA (July 17, 2026) – A secondary traffic accident involving a white Ford Maverick and a white GMC 2500 pickup was reported on Friday afternoon on southbound US-101 at the E Grand Ave off-ramp.
The collision was reported at approximately 5:05 p.m. Both vehicles came to rest in the slow lane, and dispatch records indicated the driver of the GMC reported a hand injury. Later updates classified the collision as involving minor injuries.
The damaged Ford Maverick and GMC 2500 could not be driven from the roadway, and tow trucks were requested to remove both vehicles. Traffic continued to move around the blocked lane while the roadway was being cleared. The identities of those involved were not released.
