Livermore, CA (July 17, 2026) – A two-vehicle accident involving a Toyota RAV4 and a Honda sedan was reported on Friday afternoon on eastbound I-580 just west of the North Flynn Rd off-ramp.
The collision was reported at approximately 5:27 p.m. Dispatch information indicated both vehicles came to rest on the right shoulder of the freeway. No tow trucks were requested, suggesting the vehicles were not blocking traffic.
The crash was classified as involving minor injuries, although the number of people hurt and the extent of their injuries were not immediately released. The identities of those involved have also not been made public. The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation as additional information becomes available.
