Aurora, CO (July 22, 2026) – Two people were hurt after a two-vehicle collision near Quincy Avenue and Richfield Street in Aurora on Monday afternoon, July 20, according to official reports.
The collision involved a black Tesla and a white Ford truck, with both vehicles sustaining significant damage. Images from the scene showed front-end damage to the Tesla near a bent road sign, while the Ford truck had damage to its rear and side. One vehicle caught fire after the crash, but emergency crews extinguished the flames. Two people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
All directions of Quincy Avenue were closed while crews worked in the area. The cause of the crash remains under investigation, with more information expected to be released later. We are thinking of those injured as they receive medical care.
