What Is Commonly Reviewed in Freeway Rollover Crashes
Freeway rollover crashes are often analyzed by looking at vehicle control, speed, roadway conditions, and tire or mechanical issues that may have contributed to the loss of stability. Investigators may also review skid marks, road curvature, and weather conditions at the time of the crash.
Because rollover accidents can involve multiple rotations and shifting vehicle positions, physical evidence from the roadway and vehicle damage patterns is often important in reconstructing what happened. Medical reports and occupant seating positions may also help clarify injury outcomes. These combined details help clarify how freeway crashes unfold.
