Anderson County, SC (August 8, 2026) – Two Anderson men were killed on Thursday evening in a head-on accident on Snow Rd near Hwy 29. The crash was reported at about 6:45 p.m.
The victims were identified as 32-year-old Shaquan Akeem Thompson and 47-year-old Ronnie Lee Holder. Thompson was driving a black Ford Mustang when it crossed the center line while traveling west on Snow Rd and struck Holder’s silver Nissan Sentra head-on.
Both men were found dead inside their vehicles. The coroner’s office said each man died from multiple traumatic injuries, and both deaths were ruled accidental. The investigation into the wreck is ongoing.
