St. Johns County, FL (July 21, 2026) – Two drivers lost their lives, and two other people were hurt in a head-on crash involving two sport utility vehicles on State Road A1A in St. Johns County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the fatal collision involved two SUVs traveling on SR A1A. Both drivers were pronounced dead following the wreck, while two additional occupants were injured. Authorities have not released the identities of those involved or provided details about the severity of the survivors’ injuries.
Investigators have not yet disclosed what caused the vehicles to collide head-on, and additional information about the crash has not been made public.
The cause of the fatal collision remains under investigation as troopers continue to gather evidence.
