Vallejo, CA (January 12, 2026) – A deadly hit-and-run crash early Saturday morning claimed the life of a woman and left two others injured at the intersection of Sonoma Blvd and Redwood St. The Vallejo Police Department confirmed that the incident occurred at approximately 5:05 a.m. on January 10.
According to initial reports, two vehicles were involved in a collision, during which one of the vehicles struck a woman. It remains unclear how she became involved in the crash, and investigators have yet to determine the sequence of events that led to the tragedy. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of her injuries. Her identity has not been released pending family notification.
In addition to the fatality, two other individuals sustained injuries in the crash. Emergency medical personnel responded quickly, providing aid and arranging transport for those hurt. The conditions of the injured parties have not yet been disclosed.
One of the drivers involved fled the scene, prompting an ongoing investigation by Vallejo police. Authorities are actively working to identify and locate the individual responsible for leaving the scene of the fatal incident.
