Obetz, OH (August 18, 2026) – One driver was seriously injured late on Sunday night, August 16, when another vehicle struck their vehicle on Alum Creek Drive near Interstate 270 in Obetz. The crash was reported at approximately 10:30 p.m.
According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, a Chevrolet Malibu had broken down and was blocking the right northbound lane of Alum Creek Drive. The Malibu driver was outside the vehicle when a northbound Chevrolet Caprice struck the person.
The injured driver was taken to Grant Medical Center in critical condition. The Caprice driver remained at the scene, while a passenger inside the Malibu was not injured.
