Jackson Township, PA (June 15, 2026) – A Lawrence County man lost his life after his vehicle collided with a tri-axle truck early on Saturday morning in Jackson Township.
According to the Butler County Coroner’s Office, the crash occurred at approximately 12:45 a.m. on June 13 at the Interstate 79 northbound ramp leading to Lindsay Road. Investigators reported that Nicholas A. Patterson, 28, of Volant, was exiting the ramp when his vehicle struck the rear axles of a tri-axle truck.
Patterson suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities said the truck driver was not injured in the collision.
Additional details regarding the circumstances leading up to the crash were not immediately released. Jackson Township police continue to investigate the fatal incident.
