Webster, MO (January 15, 2026) – A collision involving two vehicles along US 60 east of Seymour left one man injured Wednesday evening in Webster County.
The crash took place at approximately 7:27 p.m., about two miles east of Seymour. According to Corporal J.W. Philpott (1182) of Troop D, a 2020 GMC Terrain was traveling eastbound when it veered off the right side of the road. The vehicle struck a 2023 Toyota Sequoia that was positioned in a private driveway, before returning to the roadway and ultimately running off the left side.
Both vehicles sustained total damage and were towed from the scene by Yates Towing of Seymour. Emergency responders arrived quickly and assessed the occupants for injuries.
The 72-year-old driver of the Toyota, a Springfield resident, suffered injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment. The driver of the GMC, a 41-year-old woman from Lakin, KS, was reportedly uninjured. Both individuals were properly restrained at the time of the collision.
