Webster, MO (January 8, 2026) – A serious injury crash occurred Wednesday evening on US-60, roughly two miles west of Fordland in Webster County. The collision involved two vehicles and left one passenger hospitalized with significant injuries.
According to Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop D, the crash happened around 5:00 p.m. when a 2021 Ford Expedition pulled into the path of a 2015 Chevrolet Equinox traveling eastbound. The resulting impact caused severe damage to both vehicles, which were later towed from the scene by Yates Boys Towing.
A 72-year-old woman from Prosperity, PA, who was a passenger in the Ford, sustained serious injuries. She was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was transported by EMS to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for emergency care. The 78-year-old male driver of the Ford and the 30-year-old female driver of the Equinox, both of whom were also wearing seatbelts, were not reported as injured.
Troopers B.T. Cook and B.C. Roberts assisted at the scene as part of the investigation, which remains ongoing.
