West Manchester Twp, PA (January 20, 2026) – A car and a tractor-trailer were involved in a crash early Tuesday morning in the 200 block of Hanover Rd (PA 116) in West Manchester Township, prompting a response from local emergency services and resulting in one person being hospitalized.
The incident occurred shortly after 5:30 a.m., with fire and police personnel arriving to find both vehicles involved in the roadway. According to the West Manchester Township Fire Department, one individual sustained injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation and treatment. The extent of those injuries has not yet been made public.
Following the crash, authorities closed Hanover Rd between Wolfs Church Rd and West Market St while emergency crews worked to clear the scene and begin an investigation into the cause of the collision.
Officials from both the West Manchester Township Fire Department and Police Department remained on scene throughout the morning. No additional details have been released at this time.
