Single-Vehicle Crashes and Highway Safety
Single-vehicle crashes on highways can be serious due to high speeds and limited reaction time. These accidents may occur from driver error, fatigue, distraction, or road conditions.
Injuries can be severe, especially if the vehicle strikes barriers, embankments, or other obstacles. Prompt emergency response, lane closures, and rapid medical attention are critical in reducing further harm.
Drivers can help prevent single-vehicle collisions by staying alert, obeying speed limits, and adjusting their driving to weather and traffic conditions.
