Fontana, CA (July 16, 2026) – A two-vehicle accident involving a construction vehicle and a black Chrysler van was reported early on Wednesday morning on northbound I-15 just south of I-10 near Jurupa Avenue.
Initial reports indicated the van collided with the construction vehicle before coming to rest on top of a guardrail along the right shoulder. Dispatch information stated the person inside the van uses a wheelchair and was unable to exit the vehicle without assistance.
Emergency units were requested after the collision was upgraded to an injury crash. Fire personnel blocked the slow lane while crews worked on-site, and a tow truck was requested to remove the disabled van.
No identities or details about the extent of injuries were released. The cause of the accident remains under investigation, and additional information may be made available as the review continues.
