Wichita, KS (January 14, 2026) – A head-on crash involving two vehicles resulted in injuries Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of East 15th Street North and North Wabash Avenue, prompting a rapid response from Wichita emergency services.
Crews from Engine One and Squad One arrived on scene around 4:20 p.m. and immediately began assessing the vehicles and checking for injured individuals. Initial reports confirmed a two-vehicle, head-on collision with injuries, though the number and severity of those hurt have not yet been publicly disclosed.
Emergency personnel established Wabash Command at the scene and remained in the area to assist patients and manage traffic around the crash site.
