Rolesville, NC (August 6, 2026) – A woman died after a house fire destroyed a home in the 800 block of Willow Tower Ct near Rolesville on Wednesday, August 5.
According to town officials, the fire was reported at approximately 1:34 a.m. Firefighters arrived to find heavy flames coming through the roof of the home. Multiple fire departments responded to the scene, with approximately 30 firefighters working for about an hour to bring the blaze under control. No firefighters were injured during the response.
After the fire was extinguished, crews located a deceased woman inside the residence. Her identity has not yet been released. The home’s interior was extensively damaged by the fire. The Rolesville Fire Marshal, Rolesville Police Department, and state and federal investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire, which remains under investigation.
