Rosedale, MD (August 15, 2026) – A 34-year-old woman lost her life early on Friday after the Subaru she was traveling in crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer on northbound Interstate 95 in Rosedale. The collision was reported around 3 a.m. on August 14.
According to Maryland State Police, the tractor-trailer had a flat tire and was attempting to move onto the right shoulder when the Subaru struck the rear of the trailer. Gregory Lloyd, 41, of Nottingham, was driving the Subaru and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The passenger, Francesca Lloyd, 34, also of Nottingham, was transported to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Authorities said the two were believed to be married. The tractor-trailer driver was not injured, and no additional injuries were reported. Investigators suspect impairment may have contributed to the crash, which remains under investigation.
