Louisville, KY (July 12, 2026) – A woman was seriously injured in a crash involving a semi-truck and two passenger vehicles on Interstate 64 near mile marker 19.6 in Louisville on Friday afternoon, July 10.
The collision occurred around 3:45 p.m. and temporarily shut down all westbound lanes and the leftmost eastbound lanes. EMS and Fire crews responded to the scene, where the injured woman was taken to a hospital for treatment. Officials have not released her identity or provided additional information about the other people involved in the crash.
The roadway remained closed for several hours while crews worked at the scene and the incident was investigated. All lanes reopened shortly before 7 p.m.
