What Is Reviewed After a Parking Lot Crash?
Crashes in parking areas may involve factors different from those in roadway collisions, including vehicle movement, visibility, and driver awareness. Investigators may review vehicle positions, damage patterns, and any available witness information to determine how the crash occurred.
Parking lot traffic flow, nearby signs, and each driver’s actions may also be examined. Even at lower speeds, crashes can result in injuries depending on the direction of impact and where a vehicle is struck. Reviewing these details helps provide a clearer picture of the events involved.
