What to Do After a Highway Crash in Woodbridge, VA
If you're involved in or witness a highway crash, move to a safe spot off the travel lanes if your vehicle is able and call 911 right away. Even if you feel fine, a medical check is worth getting, since injuries from a collision at highway speed aren't always obvious right away. Stay near the scene until troopers arrive so you can give a statement, and take photos of the vehicles and surroundings if it's safe to do so. Afterward, keep any paperwork from police and medical providers together, since it may be needed for insurance or for the official report once it's released.
