Eagle Township, MI (June 30, 2026) – Minor injuries were reported after a multi-vehicle crash on westbound Interstate 96 in Clinton County. The accident happened at Wright Road in Eagle Township.
Michigan State Police said the crash occurred at the entrance to a work zone. Westbound Interstate 96 was closed while crews worked in the roadway.
Drivers were directed off the freeway at Wright Road during the closure. The westbound lanes have since reopened.
