Prairie Village, KS (July 7, 2026) – A construction worker was critically hurt after being struck by a vehicle shortly after 11 a.m. on Monday, July 6, near 79th Street and Ash Street, just east of 79th Street and Nall Avenue in Prairie Village.
According to Prairie Village police, the driver remained at the roadway and cooperated with investigators following the collision. Emergency units provided aid before the construction worker was taken to a nearby hospital, where the person was listed in critical condition.
The worker’s identity has not been released, and no additional information about the circumstances leading up to the crash was immediately available.
