Anaheim, CA (July 8, 2026) – Two people were reportedly hurt in a traffic collision shortly before midnight on July 5 on southbound I-5 just south of Brookhurst Street in Anaheim. Initial CHP dispatch information indicated a black Subaru Forester and a white Chevrolet Yukon were involved, with the vehicles blocking the two right lanes.
Emergency units worked to move the vehicles to the right shoulder as traffic remained at a standstill for a period. Tow trucks were requested to remove the damaged vehicles from the freeway. A white Acura was also noted on the right shoulder during the response, although its involvement was not immediately clarified. The identities of those involved and the extent of their injuries had not been released at the time of publication. The cause of the crash remains under investigation as additional information becomes available.
