Sacramento, CA (July 8, 2026) – A pedestrian was hurt in a hit-and-run on Orange Grove Ave in Sacramento shortly before midnight on July 5. According to California Highway Patrol reports, the person was struck in the parking lot of a Walmart at 3425 Orange Grove Ave, then made their way to a nearby apartment complex, where help was requested.
Emergency units arrived at the property after the call was received around 11:43 p.m. The injured person was later taken to UC Davis Medical Center for treatment. No description of the vehicle involved or the driver was immediately released, and the identity of the pedestrian has not been made public. The cause of the hit-and-run remains under investigation as investigators work to gather additional information.
