San Francisco, CA (July 28, 2026) – Two people were reportedly hurt in a multi-vehicle traffic accident on the afternoon of July 26 on the northbound US-101 just south of Vermont Street in San Francisco. Initial dispatch information indicated a gray Toyota Prius and a white Acura MDX were involved before the situation expanded to include several additional vehicles.
Emergency units arrived to find as many as seven vehicles involved, with lanes one and two blocked while crews worked to assist those involved and clear the highway. Dispatch logs later identified a white Tesla, a white SUV, a black SUV, and another unidentified vehicle among those caught up in the chain-reaction collision. The people involved had exited their vehicles and were assessed for injuries at the scene.
