Gasconade Co., MO (July 13, 2026) – Two women were seriously injured in a rear-end collision on Saturday night, July 11, on U.S. Highway 50. The accident occurred at approximately 8:25 p.m. near 2101 U.S. Highway 50 in Gasconade County.
A 2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek was stopped in the roadway when a 1999 Ford Ranger struck it from behind. Both vehicles were traveling west before the contact, and each was declared a total loss.
Two Subaru passengers, ages 25 and 29, were taken to Mercy Hospital Washington with serious injuries. The Subaru driver was a 29-year-old man from Union, while the Ford driver was a 25-year-old man from Hermann. Authorities continue reviewing the circumstances surrounding the collision.
