Norfolk, VA (January 2, 2026) – A man was injured in what appears to be a hit-and-run incident involving a pedestrian early Thursday morning near West Liberty St in Norfolk. First responders were dispatched to the scene shortly before 3:30 a.m. following reports that an individual had been struck by a vehicle and found injured in a nearby parking lot.
Upon arrival, emergency medical crews located a male victim lying on the ground. He was described as wearing a gray shirt and black pants and had sustained injuries consistent with being hit by a car. The victim was reportedly struck by a green sedan, which fled the area before authorities could arrive.
Crews provided immediate medical assistance before transporting the man to a local medical center for further evaluation. At the time of the initial report, the exact nature of the victim’s condition had not yet been confirmed.
