How Scooter Crashes Involving Larger Vehicles Can Become Severe
Crashes involving scooters and larger vehicles can lead to serious outcomes due to the limited protection riders have. Even at moderate speeds, the impact force can cause severe injuries.
Intersections are common locations for these incidents, where traffic from multiple directions meets. Visibility, timing, and vehicle movement all affect how safely drivers and riders can pass through.
When a scooter carries more than one rider, balance and control may be affected. Investigators often review vehicle paths, speed, and road conditions to better understand how these crashes occur.
