Middletown, CT (May 2, 2026) – A crash involving a car and a box truck led to a rollover and injuries on Friday evening on Interstate 91 in Middletown. The incident occurred around 6:35 p.m. in the southbound lanes just before Exit 20.
Emergency units responded to the scene and found the box truck overturned on its side following the collision. The driver of the truck suffered a leg injury and was treated at the scene before being taken to a hospital.
Authorities said two occupants of the car involved left the scene on foot and entered a wooded area nearby. A search was initiated to locate them.
