Tacoma, WA (January 7, 2026) – A traffic collision with injuries occurred late Monday morning at the intersection of East 75th Street and East McKinley Avenue in Tacoma, prompting a full emergency response and temporary road closures in the area.
The crash was reported around 11:13 a.m. on January 5. According to dispatch audio from Tacoma Police and Fire units, at least one person sustained injuries in the crash. A driver reportedly suffered a laceration to the arm and required medical attention at the scene.
Emergency medical crews were called in to assist, and Tacoma Police shut down McKinley Ave between 72nd and 75th Streets while responders managed the scene.
