Charleston, SC (January 7, 2026) – A bicyclist was killed Tuesday evening in a tragic hit-and-run collision on the Ashley River Bridge, according to the Charleston Police Department. The incident occurred around 7 p.m. as the cyclist was riding into downtown Charleston when they were struck by a vehicle that failed to stop.
