Philadelphia, PA (January 11, 2026) – A woman was injured in a motor vehicle collision early Saturday morning on South 11th Street in Center City, prompting a response from local emergency crews.
The incident occurred at approximately 1:55 a.m. on January 10, according to dispatch information. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene where a female occupant was found with a head injury following the crash. Despite the impact, the woman was conscious, had stable vital signs, and did not lose consciousness. She was not on blood thinners, which responders noted during initial evaluations.
Medics transported the woman to Jefferson Hospital for further evaluation. No additional injuries were reported at the time, and authorities have not indicated the number of vehicles involved.
Police temporarily monitored the area near the 1900 block of S 11th St to support EMS crews and begin an investigation into the crash. The cause remains under review.
