The circumstances leading up to the incident remain unclear, but the bicyclist—a male victim—sustained serious injuries after being hit by a car. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and provided immediate aid before transporting the man to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs for advanced care.
