Jefferson Co, MO (January 15, 2026) – A man was injured Wednesday afternoon following a two-vehicle collision on MO-110 at Athena School Rd in Jefferson County. The crash occurred at approximately 12:03 p.m. on January 14 and involved a passenger vehicle and a commercial truck.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2024 Chevrolet Equinox was attempting a left-hand turn when it entered the path of an eastbound 2019 International LT625. The front right of the truck struck the front left of the Equinox, resulting in significant damage to both vehicles.
The 61-year-old male driver of the Equinox, a resident of De Soto, was wearing a seatbelt and sustained injuries in the crash. He was transported by Joachim Plattin Ambulance District to Mercy Hospital Jefferson for treatment. The truck driver, a 53-year-old man from El Paso, TX, was not injured and had been properly restrained.
Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene by Miner’s Towing. Troopers T. Stamos and Cpl. D. Crowell assisted at the scene as authorities worked to investigate the incident and restore traffic flow.
