Lexington, SC (January 15, 2026) – A traffic collision involving a GMC SUV left two individuals injured on Wednesday morning along Old State Rd in Lexington County. Emergency responders worked quickly to relocate the damaged vehicle and assist the victims.
First arriving units coordinated with EMS and law enforcement to move the SUV carrying the injured parties into a nearby commercial lot, identified as the former Hooters parking area. This allowed easier access for paramedics as they began providing medical aid on site.
Emergency medical services confirmed that two people sustained injuries in the crash. While EMS units were en route, Lexington Fire personnel and Columbia County responders helped stabilize the scene and manage traffic in the area.
