Albuquerque, NM (January 15, 2026) – A traffic collision resulting in injuries was reported Wednesday evening near the intersection of Ladera Drive Northwest and Market Street in Albuquerque, prompting a multi-unit emergency response.
Engine 7, Rescue 7, and Squad 1 were dispatched to the scene around 7:05 p.m. after receiving a 29 Bravo 1 call indicating a crash with injured individuals. Upon arrival, responders began assessing those involved and providing on-site medical treatment. The number of injured parties and vehicles involved has not yet been confirmed.
The area surrounding Ladera Dr NW and Market St NW is a high-traffic zone during evening hours, and the crash caused temporary disruptions as emergency crews secured the scene and managed traffic flow.
Investigators are working to determine the circumstances of the collision, including whether driver inattention, roadway conditions, or right-of-way violations contributed to the incident.
