The crash happened around 12:19 p.m. on January 17 near the intersection across from Huffman Road and in the direction of Fort Jackson. According to dispatch audio, a black Dodge Ram and a green Mercedes were among the vehicles involved. Both sustained heavy front-end damage, and airbag deployment was confirmed. One of the vehicles came to rest in the middle of the intersection, further obstructing traffic flow.

The Columbia Police Department is investigating the incident to determine the cause and any contributing factors.
We send our best wishes to all those injured in this crash and hope for a full and swift recovery.
