Chicago, IL (January 19, 2026) – A serious crash involving injuries occurred on the southbound lanes of I-90 near Adams St in Chicago, prompting an emergency response from police and fire personnel.
The incident, which took place around 5:10 p.m., involved a Hyundai that reportedly struck a wall and may have rolled over during the collision. Dispatch audio also indicated that a second vehicle may have been involved, leading to a potential two-car crash.
Fire crews and medical units were en route shortly after the crash was reported. Responders worked to assess and assist the injured at the scene. At least one person sustained injuries, though the full extent remains unknown at this time.
