Lady’s Island, SC (January 19, 2026) – A tragic collision on Sunday night claimed the lives of two individuals and left a third injured in Lady’s Island. The fatal crash occurred at the intersection of Sea Island Parkway and Eustis Landing Road, drawing a full response from local emergency agencies.
According to the Lady’s Island/St. Helena Fire Department, the two-car crash happened during the evening hours on January 18. A 54-year-old driver from one of the vehicles and a 17-year-old occupant from the other were both pronounced dead at the scene. A second 17-year-old involved in the crash was transported to Beaufort Memorial Hospital for medical treatment.
Authorities shut down Sea Island Parkway in both directions for several hours as firefighters, medics, and investigators worked to secure the area and determine the cause of the collision. Details regarding what led to the crash have not yet been released.
The names of the victims have been withheld pending notification of next of kin.
